Toru Fukui

Toru Fukui is a pioneer in the Japanese executive search business with more than three decades of experience. He is a founder of Signium Japan, establishing the firm in 1997. His prior experience includes two decades with another Japanese search firm as a co-founder and partner. He began his business career with a Japanese management consulting firm and served for six years, where he gained significant marketing and recruiting consultation experience for foreign corporations planning to expand business in Japan.

Toru Fukui currently conducts searches with the successful recruitment of key executives in industries including medical / life science, consumer / luxury goods, and professional services. He has recruited CEOs, General Managers, Directors of Sales/ Marketing, CFOs, HR roles and Medical Doctors.

He graduated with BA in Law from Gakushuin University, Tokyo and international marketing at Woodberry University, LA.
