Charles Martin

Charles Martin’s early career includes experience at Christie’s auction house and an advertising agency before entering the retail and wholesale sector where he established and led a wholesale giftware business, on the Kings Road in London. Then he worked in Sales and Marketing Directorships within the media and corporate giftware sectors. In 2000, Charles joined an innovative internet start-up offering web-based database solutions specifically designed for recruiters. He was later headhunted into one of the top career management organisations, based in the City of London.

He has over 10 years of Executive Search experience advising Clients predominately within the financial services industry, where he has executed mandates for senior and board level positions across a variety of functions and ownership structures. He is a member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants, the global industry body for executive search and leadership consulting. In 2007, Charles established Network Search, a search and selection firm focusing on recruiting for senior leadership positions within the Financial Services sector. Charles has brought this wealth of experience to Signium in the UK where he leads the Financial Services capability across the UK and internationally. 

When not at work, Charles can be found entertaining his two young boys with his wife or indulging in his passion for fly fishing for which he is well known.
