Carol O’Connor

Carol joined Signium Ireland as a dedicated Research Associate in July 2001 and has been Head of Research for the Dublin office since January 2009.

A highly respected research practitioner, Carol is a regular attendee and contributor at various AESC fora and on occasion has led Signium’s internal research practice group. Partnering with consultants and clients, Carol has led in-depth research & sourcing in a variety of domestic & international leadership & specialist roles in sectors including BioPharma, Construction, Engineering Services, Environmental, Financial Services, FMCG, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Media, Professional Services, Transport, Telecommunications and Technology.

After an early career in the tourism sector, she commenced in the recruitment profession in 1999, initially working as a Consultant specialising in healthcare, services, and tourism & leisure sectors. A native of Co. Kerry in Ireland, Carol has a First-Class B.Comm honours degree from University College Cork & undertook the IBEC European Orientation Development Programme.

Carol enjoys keeping fit, cooking/food, spending time with friends and family and loves (watching) all types of sport though, given her roots, has a natural allegiance to Gaelic Football/GAA.
