William Langdon-Banks

William began his career in advertising sales for a major publishing house in London, then in 2005 moved to Monaco where he started his career in Executive Search building the EMEA leadership teams of fast growth Nasdaq listed technology companies.

In 2009, William co-founded Monaco’s first CEO & Board Executive Search Firm. Whilst growing the Technology Practice, he also co-led the firm’s Renewable Energy Practice for several years, servicing clients across UK, Europe, Japan, and the US.

With an admirable record of C-suite and VP executive placements, he advises some of the best known Digital/Tech scale-ups and their Investors including Softbank, Atomico, Wayfair, Contentful, Lilium, and Grover.

William’s expertise fuels his ability to engage and place the most sought-after CTOs, CISO, and cross functional leaders for tech-enabled organisations wanting to transition from ‘growth to quality’. His specialisms include B2B Software, D2C Digital Platforms, and Autonomous Driving.

Having been brought up in Spain, France, Sweden, and England, William brings a cosmopolitan world view which he has found invaluable when advising his diversified and international client portfolio. Married to a Japanese wife with 4 children he now puts that experience to good use!

William has a B.A. in sociology from Brighton University, speaks fluent French and conversational Italian.

In his spare time William is improving his Yoga, much to the amusement of his family who have not seen him do more than cross his legs!
