Thibaud Eckenschwiller

Thibaud Eckenschwiller is a Senior Executive with thirty years of professional experience in CEO/General Management, Business Development, Marketing and Finance roles within diversified Pharma sector companies in Italy and abroad.

He has excellent knowledge of the Pharma/Life science segment, both in entrepreneurial companies and in start-up contexts. At Ipsen, he successfully participated in the creation of the Oncology business unit from scratch.

With a solid network of relationships, his structured and vertical path within the Pharma segment has allowed him to develop connections with the top management at pharmaceutical companies in Italy (Zambon, Alfasigma, Menarini, Boiron, Novartis, Ipsen, Takeda, BioMérieux, Abiogen, Petrone).

During his 11 years at Novartis he held international roles; Head of Controlling Europe (Basel), Chief Financial Officer Scandinavia and Finland (Copenhagen) and during his 12 years at IPSEN he was Country Head Spain – President & Managing Director, Country Head Italy – President & Managing Director, to then move on to Zambon in 2020 as Executive Vice President – Chief Business and Chief Marketing Officer.

After living in Barcelona where he held the role of CEO for Medichem, he returned to Milan where he resides with his family.

Thibaud holds a degree in Biochemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and speaks fluent French, Italian, English, German and Spanish.
