Lionel Teng

After some 28+ years of senior commercial and operation leadership careers with several Australian, European and American multinational corporations in industrial and consumer sectors across APAC region, Lionel has been active in executive search since 2005. Prior to joining Signium, Lionel was the Partner of the top 10 international executive search firm in Singapore. In 2008, Lionel founded Signium Singapore as Managing Partner and was subsequently elected as Regional Director, Asia Pacific on the Global Board of Signium, a position he held for 7 years. He leads the Singapore team and conducts high level engagements for multinational corporations and Asian conglomerates across the APAC region.  

With 14+ years in executive search, coupled with his prior professional journey, Lionel works with clients transnational in diverse sectors. He has completed senior leadership appointments at C-Suite levels, General Management as well as functional head level covering disciplines such as Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality etc., across Asia Pacific. 

Lionel holds a Bachelor of Business Degree in Marketing and Finance from Curtin University of Technology, Australia and a post-graduate degree in Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia. He is fluent in English and Mandarin and is highly adaptive to diverse Asian and European culture. Lionel enjoys travelling with his family, good food and wine and golf. Lionel is fond of cooking and gardening.
