Annelize van Rensburg is the global Chair of Signium and a founding member of Signium Africa. She firmly believes that the integrated talent solutions offered to clients represents the future of search and talent management and will greatly benefit existing and future clients.
Annelize’s experience in search and selection covers all levels of senior and executive management. Her industry experience spans a variety of sectors with, but not exclusive, focus on consumer and FMCG, agriculture, ICT, academia, as well as environmental, tourism and hospitality. In addition to the local and international private sector, Annelize also services the South African public and parastatal sector. She covers South Africa nationally as well as the sub-Saharan region of the African continent and as such executed successfully in most east African countries.
Annelize commenced her career in executive search with a global search firm in 1998 in a research capacity and gained experience in all industries, working on assignments both locally and internationally. In 2002, she was appointed Director of Research at the South African alliance office of a NY listed search firm in Johannesburg. Since 2004 she has been servicing clients directly with dedication and has become a trusted partner to their businesses. In 2009 she co-founded Talent Africa now Signium Africa. Annelize van Rensburg holds a post-graduate degree majoring in Political Science from the Rand Afrikaans University (now known as the University of Johannesburg). She started her career at a private foundation specialising in fact-finding missions for international business and political leaders. Thereafter she was appointed Vice Principal of a private business college. Annelize is bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
