Shireen Ng

Shireen Ng is a Director at Signium Singapore. She co-leads Singapore’s Consumer and Technology sector practices.

Shireen has spent more than 15 years in HR having held roles in strategic HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding. Prior to her transition as a HR professional, Shireen spent her early career in the shipping industry as a management trainee before moving into a commercial role.

Shireen has built deep industry experience across shipping, logistics, agriculture, food manufacturing, e-commerce and technology having worked in large multinational companies such as Maersk, Cargill, Alibaba and Autodesk as a talent acquisition lead.

Her passion and strength lie in connecting and building relationship with candidates. She has a distinct talent for distilling complex roles and requirements into clear action plans while providing solution when working alongside her clients, helping them to see the larger picture. Her ability to spot talents for clients results in a win-win for candidates and clients.

Having worked in Malaysia, Australia and Singapore, she possesses broad cultural experience and understands the various nuances of the region. Shireen is able to communicate effectively across different cultures, language and levels of talents.

Shireen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Malaya and a Professional Certificate in HR Management.

Outside of work, Shireen enjoys playing the piano, exercising to stay fit and loves the arts and culture.
