Jon Ashcroft

Jon Ashcroft is a Managing Partner at Signium in the GCC, bringing over 25 years of recruitment industry experience to the role. Jon began his career in the UK before relocating to the Middle East in 2008. Prior to joining Signium, he led the Executive Search division across the MENA region for a leading global recruitment firm, where he built an immensely successful team that achieved a ten-fold growth within 10 years. His team was recognized as “Team of the Year” multiple times, including in 2024.

Jon has a proven track record of recruiting senior leadership positions and board appointments across various sectors in the Middle East, including Consumer, Industrial, Energy, and Construction. His clients range from multinational corporations and semi-government entities to sovereign wealth funds, family groups, and private equity firms. His assignments have included regional and global searches, successfully placing both Arab nationals and expatriates.

Jon’s relentless commitment to delivering on client mandates has resulted in an outstanding record of success, with him being the top fee earner in the region on several occasions at his previous firm.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Leeds.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his three children and two dogs. He is also passionate about sports, particularly running, golf, pickleball, and cheering for his beloved football team.
