Thomas King

Thomas King started his career as a statistician in the Department of Industry and Transportation in State Statistics Bureau of China, where he specialized in analysis and forecasting of the development of industry and energy markets. After seven years he joined Beijing PEI International Economic and Trading Consulting Company as a Research Manager. He undertook market research in industry and consumer fields.

Before Thomas’s career focused in the executive search industry, as a Senior Consultant in a Hong Kong leading management consulting firm, he was particular experienced in compensation and benefits research, manpower planning, recruitment management. 

Thomas has been active in Executive Search since 2000. At Boyden he served as a Director in Beijing Office between 2006 and 2012.  He joined Signium in 2014 as Director Greater China and Partner.  Thomas is a seasoned executive search professional with a broad background in the industrial, consumer and technology sectors. He has completed hundreds of searches across all functional disciplines in middle and senior management, both for local and international positions based in China. 
 Thomas holds a Bachelor of Statistics from People’s University of China and MBA from New Port University, USA. He speaks native Mandarin and is fluent in English. Apart from work, Thomas is keen in classical music, hiking and outdoor sports.
