Michelle is a founding member and a shareholder of Talent Africa, now Signium Africa. She heads up the Assessment Services Practice for Signium Africa and has worked on numerous small and large scale talent management projects with clients across a variety of industries. Michelle gained experience early in her career in the public relations, transport, and financial services industries. She joined the executive search industry in 2000 and was subsequently promoted to Assessment Manager at the South African alliance office of a NY listed search firm in Johannesburg. Michelle conducts assessments at middle, senior and executive level for selection, development, training and succession planning as well as for team and organisational development purposes. She is a skilled facilitator and provides career counselling services as well as team and individual coaching. She is accredited in many international assessment tools and methodologies, focusing particularly on leadership development and bespoke competency modelling.
She is a registered Industrial Psychologist with the Health Profession’s Council and is a registered Chartered HR Professional in the category of Coaching and Mentoring with SABPP. She also serves on the Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology’s Advisory Board at the University of South Africa on a voluntary basis.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Masters Degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (cum laude) from the University of South Africa. When she is not in the office you will find Michelle enjoying a good book, supporting the theatre and spending time with friends and family.
