Mauro Capriata

Mauro joined Signium Italy in 2021, with a specific focus on Executive & Director Search projects and specializing in Consumer, Retail, Fashion & Luxury.

Mauro began his professional career in Zyma S.p.A., a company belonging to the Ciba Geigy Group, and, subsequently, in Grace Chemicals where he held the position of Commercial Director. In 1982 he was hired by Europ Assistance Italia S.p.A., a service company of the Generali Assicurazioni Group, where he spent 16 years and successfully held various positions from Operations Manager, to General Manager, and Member of the International Executive Committee. In 1994 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Europ Assistance Partners S.p.A., a financial company founded by Europ Assistance to conduct a diversification and development program.

In 1998 he joined Spencer Stuart Italia, soon assuming the role of Consumer Practice Leader for Italy. For over 15 years, he was a member of the Europe Luxury and Retail Practice, participating in important national and international research projects of CEOs, General Managers, General Merchandising Managers, Commercial (Retail Wholesale), E-Commerce Directors, Ops Directors.

Mauro Capriata holds a degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Milan. He is fluent in English and French.
