Sherman is a Partner in executive search at Signium Greater China. He has a combined 25 years’ of experience in executive search, talent and leadership consulting, and corporate human resources.
Previously a Partner at another multinational executive search firm, Sherman has helped clients in the Asia Pacific region and globally on senior level assignments across the consumer, technology, industrial and financial services sectors. More recently, he worked with clients in digital assets and cryptocurrency. Functionally, he has worked extensively on general management and sales roles and the heads of Finance, HR, IT and Corporate Communications.
In Hong Kong, he has focused on the public authorities and universities, recruiting senior executives/academics as well as entire leadership teams for new entities.
Earlier in his career, Sherman was the Head of Leadership Development for Credit Suisse in Asia Pacific and the Director of Talent Development for British American Tobacco and VF Corporation for the region.
Born and raised in New York, Sherman moved to Hong Kong over 25 years ago. He has Master’s Degrees in both International Affairs and Political Science from Columbia University and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Active in pro bono work, Sherman is a member of Council for Oxfam Hong Kong and a member of the Board of Oxfam Macau. He is also a member of the Board of the Columbia Alumni Association of Hong Kong.
