Kristi Stepp is a partner at Sigred Group, a management recruiting and leadership advisory firm. She has over 25 years of experience in human resources across various sectors, including automotive, healthcare, food and beverage, and workforce solutions, which has given her extensive international and multicultural expertise.
At Sigred, Kristi leads the leadership advisory practice. She brings significant experience in enhancing individual, team, and organizational effectiveness across various organizations, from middle-market to multinational companies. Before joining Sigred, she held strategic human resources roles in several prominent global organizations, including General Motors, Kelly Services, Pepsi-Cola, and Volkswagen.
During her tenure as the Global Head of Talent Development at General Motors, Kristi was responsible for the enterprise-wide development of over 65,000 salaried employees, which included 12,000 people leaders and 20,000 employees outside North America. While at Kelly Services, she worked from Singapore, overseeing all aspects of human resources for the Asia-Pacific Region. Additionally, she established Kelly’s first global organizational effectiveness department, a corporate center of expertise focused on successfully implementing business solutions. At Volkswagen, Kristi was the Director of Diversity for North America.
Kristi holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and master’s degrees from Central Michigan University and Fielding Graduate University. She is also a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program graduate.
In addition to her professional work, Kristi actively contributes to the community as a board member of Focus: HOPE and as a board trustee for Pewabic Pottery, both organizations based in Detroit, Michigan.
